A day out of the valley. Enjoy a picturesque journey heading towards the Felbertauern region of Austria, where a part of the stunning Dolomites greets you. We are now in the smallest province of Austria, East Tirol.
Driving to the Tristacher See (Lake) at the foot of the Lienzer Dolomites, there is a possibility to strole around the lake and stretch the legs before we drive up on the Dolomites and visit the Dolomiten Hut (1,620 m) for some lunch. The day continues on to the main city of east Tirol, Lienz, where you can soak up the Italian atmosphere including its coffee and cake culture, and its shops.
